Ideally, Nash should retire as a Sun since he was drafted by them and had his best years with the team, but he is also a Canadian, so I guess Toronto would be the next best fit. But I honestly had not heard these rumors before and am a bit surprised.

I could understand if he is unhappy because Bell is gone plus he lives in NY i think and is from Canada... if they make the trade as proposed the suns team would basically have no one from a few years ago except Amare.

Good deal for the Suns if so. Time to look towards the future.
Nash has a year left on his contract after this year, right?

I agree
My point excactly hate to see players end up retire in non legacy uniforms happens in baseball and it's horrible to get a HOF card in last years of a legacy it just isn't right. I'm new to the forum so hello! [email protected]

Steve nash's legacy
Is it just me or is anyone at least concerned about nash lagacy to the game and himself if he wants to go I'm good with that but to be offed at the prime end of a steller HOF bound career I'd like to see him in the suns uniform. a lot of us have forgotten the games integrity then watch any nash card in another uniform drop 20% minimum when he retires if in another uniform. ( his suns cards may go up) Iv'e seen in in all sports to many times just remember babe Ruth! did'nt belong in a boston uniform EVER! look at the players being traded in baseball now biuit a career for a team ends up retiring in another. But Money rules in baseball I'm speaking of the off loading of veterans for young talent, I know this may benifet the team so there's no one to blame it's just sad. Just look back at your cards, I'm sure we all have some that just are not right with great players ending their careers in another uniform? Or am I alone in this. I did'nt mind Griffey leaving seattle because he wanted to as much as it hurt me as a mariners fan ( met him in person in 92 ) I respected he wanted to be in cincinatti Grant

I hope you right ultimate warrick, I'm a new member looking to get some frinds on the site to learn more I collected in the ealy eighties into the early 90's when upper deck came out with the nolan Ryan and ryan sandberg auto's it was the coolest thing since sliced bread ( BTW I pulled one of the Sandbergs! and was a very excited youngster!) so you could imagine I'm in a new world here back then we had beckett an the local shady cardshop ( only one in town) to tell us what are cards were worth like the 25 Magiure olympic card I have or the rated rookie griffey ( 10 of those) sad to see what there worth now. I won't even mention the canceco/bonds quest I was on! so any tips or advise would be appreciated. since iv'e been collecting again I have quite a few rookies and relics/auto's parellels ETC.... what aRE YOUR COLLECTING PREFERENCES?
