rip wont get benched. it was between rip and ai for the 6th man and AI is the 6th man since rip built the team.

your joking right? Rip didnt "build" this team, first of all Dumars BUILT the team, second, Billups was the most important player in winning the championship, and i'd say Ben Wallace was much more important than Rip. you can find other shooters, you wont be able to find leaders everywhere
and the Pistons play better without RIP & with AI

oh please, ESPN has no idea about 1/2 the stuff they say, they also think certain teams win, and they loose. what does that mean, if we made a poll asking which player had the most to do with the Pistons Championship i GUARNTEE its not Rip, we had an amazing bench, Sheed & Ben in there primes, and Chauncey as Mr. Big Shot and the MVP, rip is nothing more than a SG. and AI is MUCH MUCH better
and if ESPN said that Peyton Manning was the worst football player ever, would you believe them?

LOL, I think ESPN does know what theyre talking about. theyre right 99% of the time. And Rip was HUGE in our championship win. all whole team was. you cant say rip didnt contribute, because he did.
and the thing about peyton manning, why would ESPN say that? have they? theyre the #1 leaders in sports info int the world, so they cant be that bad. :D

i didnt say he didnt contribute, but we could've won without him and someone else, we couldnt of without Chauncey or Ben...
and the thing about Peyton was an example, ESPN isnt right alot, they are just speculating alot

please, he was better 05-06/06-07 then 03-04.
he's like your favorite Piston....
I hate him, because i believe he makes the team worse, they looked much better without him
