IM A NORMAL PERSON, WHO HAS A LOT OF BASE CARDS and just a few expensive cards.
Dont getme wrong, when I do win the lottery, or have no life and can afford expensive cards from cases upon cases. Yes the forum for REGULAR trading will be fun.
untill then, im just hoping for a $30. and under forum. Or is there one I dont know of? I really do like this website though. It has MANYgood things about it.

agreed. i just joined the forum and i noticed the same thing. i guess with so many gu and auto cards these days it's hard to appreciate other cards as much.

While those threads can get tiresome, there are just as many low end collectors here as well. There is no other way I could have reached 30th all-time on the feedback lists here given how ridiculously low end my collection is - not to mention that 97% of my transactions are basketball-related, making it all the more restrictive than people who deal with multiple sports regularly.

to go with jammingjames, theres no way i'd get in the top ten in completed trades (i'm 8th i think right now!) without doing lowend which is the majority of what i have, yes i see tons of threads of people who only want certain guys no matter what you want, dont deal with them, theres PLENTY of others who are great traders on here!

Usually people don't trade for base cards because of shipping. But there are people who will trade for base cards. Probably most of them for their favorite player.

What SteakNchop says is absolutely true. Shipping is the biggie. I mean, you can ship a 200 ct box for around 5 bucks I would bet. So, cards cost you about 2.5 cents each to get. Those cards, most likely, are not typically worth that much to people.

I, on the other hand, love the Sox. So, I would pay 5 bucks to get a box of 200 cards and just the joy in opening the box, makes it worthwhile to me. And I am getting Sox stuff for stuff that is sitting in my basement collecting dust honestly.

So, again, if anyone wants to trade base, or they have base of my teams and want to send it to me for shipping costs, I am game for it. Just pop me a PM and let me know what you have.

Same with me. I'm happy to trade for Braves base, and the majority of my trades are for low-mid end Braves inserts. I'd rather trade for some neat looking inserts and base than an over-produced jersey w/ a small white swatch. Of course its nice to trade for a nice patch or auto now an then, but for me, thats not realistic.

I break a handful of boxes a year, and a decent amount of packs (mainly retail). I'm a high school student. I can't afford cases of Ultimate. However, I have been able to make lots of nice trades in a year on this site with the lower-end cards I have. It may be difficult at times, but there are a good amount of excellent traders who will gladly trade for base and low-end cards (schwood & gladdyontherise who have posted above to name a few). And, if you have Braves or Falcons, feel free to contact me!
