Was going to buy a blaster. . .

Was very tempted to stop by Target for a blaster today, but decided against it and decided to spend $21 on ebay for some tradebait and PC instead. Here's what I got today all from one seller for combined shipping:

07-08 Bowman Elevation Triple "patch" Luol Deng #1/2
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=280301366502

    BV: N/A due to scarcity
    Got it for $8.45 + $2.95 shipping = $11.40

Got 2 07-08 Bowman Elevation Chauncey Billups Patch #/29.
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=280301367019
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=280301367343

    BV: 18$ each.
Paid $1.49 for each shipping included

07-08 Exquisite DJ Strawberry "Year One" Auto #/10
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=280301375940

BV: Not sure, probably N/A due to scarcity, but maybe worth $15 SV
    Paid: $8.51 + .50 shipping = 9.01$

2001 Fleer Greats of the Game Feel the Game Hardwood Classics
Larry Johnson for my UNLV PC!
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=280301379509

Paid $1.49 dlvd - this card was the primary reason I bought all this stuff to begin with... but not a bad deal..

    So used up:

    Subtotal:US $19.93
    Shipping & handling:US $4.55
    Total:US $24.48

3$ more than the blaster, but not complaining..

Smart move on not buying the blaster and buying the singles instead. If I kept busting like I was a year ago until now,I wouldn't have 99.9% of the Celtics cards in my pc. I know the feeling of wanting the busting sensation. ;)

You have a very awesome Celtics PC btw!! You're more than halfway to being a Celtics Supercollector! I like how you took the pictures of your PC cards on a green background too. Makes it very Celtic. =)

My Bulls PC would also be non-existent if I didn't cut back on opening boxes. Now I just buy blaster boxes now and then to see what a new product looks like and also to pick up some Bulls base/inserts/rc's if I'm lucky.

    Some sweet deals/steals...CONGRATS!!!
    Score on those Chauncey's.
I guess either Pistons fans have kicked him completely to the collecting curb or Nuggets fans just ain't feeling him in that RWB uni.

Yeah Billup's cards have really plummeted in value lately. Kind of sad because Billups is a pretty decent player. I liked him as a Piston too because they beat the Lakers (who I hate) for the championship a few years ago. =P

But I mean $3 for two star patches numbered, can't beat that.

    No def can't beat that!
I like him a lot as well, glad he's back home. ;)
I pulled a lot of his stuff in 1997-2000...haven't really collected him since.
When the Nuggets uni cards print maybe I'll do some base/low end stuff again.

Yeah the Deng is pretty awesome. It's relatively cheap... almost a 1/1 hahaha.. I am trying to buy less and less hobby boxes/ blaster these days. It's really helped my collection and wallet. I still would buy pre 1995-2000 hobby boxes though, I think those are worth it, just for some of the base I can get, even bettter if I pull GU or inserts from those
