Miles played last night, and scored 13 points off the bench. One more game and Portland will be paying.

"We don't plan to do anything to the Blazers," NBA president of league and basketball operations Joel Litvin told ESPN.com Tuesday after it was revealed that the league office had foiled an attempt by Portland to claim Miles off waivers with the intent of stashing him on their inactive roster for the rest of the season."
whats up with that?
this will kill the blazers,8 million in fines,18 mill on the cap, wont be able to sign free agents, wont be able to sign thier on players
so memphis can sign miles to a 10 day release him to avoid paying him all year, the nba steps in so the blazers cant claim him, memphis signs him to another 10 day,and they will release him just like they did before all to stick it to the most promising young team in the league.
i guess killing the Sonics wasnt enough now they are going to kill the Blazers, cant have such a good team in a small market wont be able to sell those jerseys, just more N.B.A bias to stars and big market

Blazers dug their own grave. They released Miles because they deemed him unfit to play in the NBA. Are you suggesting the Blazers should pick him up and sit him all season? How is that fair to him?

where is the bias? is Miles not allowed to play, it wasnt like he said he didnt want to play, he wants to play so let him, blame Portland for overpaying him, you sound like a Blazer fan,, and you sound like its not fair, but how is it fair to sit someone who wants to play?Hidden Content

look at any teams ir list, they are full of ablebody players wanting to play, didnt overpay him at the time,he was a good player and good teammate
the bias,do you think the league would let this happen to the celtics or lebrons?Last edited by gsj68; 01-14-2009 at 02:49 PM.

it was the the doctors who deemed him unfit, his knee is waisted, the only reason this is happening is to hurt the blazers, and again look at any teams ir list, they are full of able healthy players wanting to play,is that fair to them?
