The Superbad Super Band is complete!
I'd forgot about checking the results of the greatest guitarist poll, sorry about that. I think the winner is probably the most debated guitarist ever, probably because he's often called the greatest ever. Anyway, it's Jimi Hendrix finishing first with 13 votes, which is 30% of the total votes. The runners up were Eddie Van Halen (7 votes, 16%), Jimmy Page (6 votes, 14%), and Yngwie Malmsteen (5 votes, 11%). So here's our band:
Elivs Pressley - singer
Jimi Hendrix - guitarist
Les Claypool - bassist
Neil Peart - drummer
Richard Wright - keyboardist
Not bad for sure, but I kinda wonder how they would mesh their sounds...would be interesting for sure. I'm imagining Don't Be Cruel with a heavy bass line and a 5 minute Hendrix solo after the second verse...
