    07/08 Topps RIP-CARD question

What exactly are these things? If a person was to rip one, what are you looking for?

I pulled one the other day and curious to know what they are.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance, Mike

Hey Mike, I don't know much about Football and Baseball but they have rip cards in Basketball. For basketball you rip the back of the card to get a mini card inside. Generally the mini cards are worth much less then the card un-ripped. HOWEVER, there is a possibility of getting a rare auto inside. If you like gambling with odds worse then lotto tickets rip it.

I would buy or trade you for it. I'm trying to complete the unripped set only have two out of the 40 though. BV is probably $40 for commons, but it's not listed, the Erving/James/Wilkins is 60 and the Johnson/Thomas/Stockton is 50. Good luck if you rip it. If not I would buy it...don't have a ton to trade as I just got started back into collectin.
