    Steve Blake out 2-4 weeks

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP)—Portland Trail Blazers starting point guard Steve Blake could be sidelined up to a month, longer than originally expected, with a right shoulder injury.

Blake separated his shoulder in Wednesday’s loss to Philadelphia. The team originally said he’d be out seven to 10 days, but the prognosis changed to two to four weeks after Blake was examined Saturday in Portland, Ore.

“With a sprained shoulder like that, four weeks is probably the norm,” coach Nate McMillan said before Saturday’s game against Charlotte. “Two (weeks), you’re lucky if a guy is out for that short period of time.”

Too bad for the Blazers, but Jerryd Bayless did ok the other night, scoring 23 points. Hopefully he recovers soon!

Are you serious? He's the starting PG for the Blazers. :-)

Looks like Bayless stepped up. Blake won't return until after the allstar break.
