    Watchmen

I had never heard of this comic. The first time I saw the preview for it, I initially thought it was another X-Men movie. After seeing a couple different preivews, I can't wait to see it. Anyone else?

Never read the comic/graphic novel. Looks promising. From the director who made 300.

I read the graphic novel and loved it. It's not a typical superhero story whatsoever, very dark, very human. Don't go into it expecting X-Men or Spider-man...nothing like those other than they all have superpowers. I'm uber-psyched about the movie. A lot of fans of the graphic novel (including the writer actually) are not happy about the movie adaptation, but I couldn't be more psyched. From the trailers I've seen, it looks absolutely phenomenal.

When i first saw the previews for this i thought it was x-men as well. But after watching it over and over again i cant wait to see it. My uncle has been telling me about this movie for over a year and i'm going to go watch it with him.

That's what I had heard. Really looking forward to it.

Any idea if the graphic novels are still available?

Yeah I'm sure it is, especially with the movie being released. I saw some in Barnes and Noble last time I was there (a few months ago) and I'm sure they have it on Amazon...it's just one graphic novel though, they combined all the smaller issues into one trade book.
