1 pack of Leaf R&S Longevity - MAJOR HIT!
So, I have been out of the hobby for a few months due to my recent move to San Antonio, and I got that urge to bust a few... I stopped in to my local card shop and picked up a box of Contenders (which I will post later), the last pack of SPx Basketball (DRose dual jersey!) and this one pack of Longevity, which the dealer picked out for me out of 1/2 box that was left...
I didnt expect much, but I am always a sucker for a surprise! I opened the pack to find a beautiful card, there it was, a big white jersey patch with a little Redskins logo and an autograph - pretty sweet... but wait, AHH! it is horribly damaged!! the entire right side was ripped off during the sealing of the pack!!
I couldnt believe the luck! i flipped the card over to see if it was numbered or anything, and my heart sunk...... 1/1!! my first ever 1/1 and it is destroyed!!!
here is a picture:

I filled out a replacement request with Donruss already, but I am not sure if they can replace this card or not, since it is a 1/1... has anyone ever heard of a 1/1 being replaced? There was something about sending a replacement of equal or greater value...
\\\thanks for reading\\\

most likely with hits damaged like that, they will go by book value and either give you another auto/GU or packs or maybe a box depending on price, dam thats bad luck though god help you, i would say standard for something like that to happen to me though lol

yeah, it still stings a little... it is a very good looking card...
it would be tough to assign a bv to it though, as it is 1/1; would they take something like what comparable cards have sold for? Because, all the 1/1 should have been inserted...
