    Half way through the season...surprise team in the East?

    Atlanta. Did anyone expect them to be 4th in the East?

    Runner-up: Orlando. I expected them to be around 4th in the East. They are currently the #1 team in the NBA.

    The Magic--I figured they'd be #3 at best. I expected Atlanta to be right around the #4 seed.

    Negatively....the Pistons and Sixers are playing much worse than everyone expected. (Although the Sixers are turning it around)
