Lazy Mailman

Anyone else have a lazy mailman??

We do. And he's made me so mad today. Sometimes when I know we're suppose to get a package on a certain day it doesnt come until a day or two later. Our mailman is awful. He's really bad for not wanting to deliver things and will wait a day or two.

I ordered a pair of Taylor Swift pants and have been closely watching the tracking thing. This morning it said they arrived in Charleston, WV yesterday. I was really excited because that meant that'd be here today. I waited and waited for the mail to get here but no package. Sometimes he'll bring packages back after finishing. He came back. I ran down to get the package and thought it was my pants. It was actually pictures I had ordered. So I checked the tracking thing and they arrived here in Kenova at 7:46 this morning so they SHOULD have been delivered TODAY.

Our mailman is awful. He doesnt deliver my grandma's stuff on time. She's suppose to get her checks on Wednesdays (it even says it on the envelopes) but he doesnt bring them until Thursday and she orders a newspaper and gets it everyday but she doesnt. She'll get like two a day sometimes (one for that day and one for the previous day).

I'm mad. I want my pants!!!! He brought my other package so why couldn't he have brought the second one? He had to come back anyways!!!

But what he doesnt know is we will receive boxes of cards in the mail tomorrow so now he's gonna have double the packages to bring! hahahahhahahahaha

I know where you're coming from Ash,Here in Ms.my mail used to get here at 10.30 everyday and we had a responsible mail lady who if she saw me would hand me my mail.She retired and let's just say the new guy stinks.Some days I won't get my mail till 4.30 in the afternoon,And like you said you know the package was at your post office early enough to be delivered before then.He also has a problem with giving us the people down the blocks mail.And I'm not talking right down the block it's about a 2 mile ride by car.I have wanted to confront this lazy individual but so far I have never seen him until he's already made his getaway.Oh well maybe he'll get better take care Steve.

i get mine at like 4 but i think it's because were like 20 houses from the end of the route.

At my old house the mail lady was so lazy! she always crammed stuff in the mailbox, got stuff wet and didnt protect it when neccessary, she broke the opening to it, so everyday she'd let the opening of it fall on the ground and always left it on the ground, the new mail person at my new house is very good and organized! :)

If our's wants to hurry and get done he'll come between 2:30 and 3 but usually he's here around 3:30 or later. That must really suck getting the other people's mail...not only for you but the other people also. We've never really had any good mailmen..the one we had before we moved came earlier in the day (about 1) but he wasnt too nice. He tried to hit our dog with the mail once. Mom went off on him and he was so nice after that. hahaha So saying something does work sometimes. :) Hopefully you'll be able to catch your's before he gets away. Maybe you could sit on your porch and wait for him. lol

Yea Ash I figure one of these days I will catch up with him,I just want an explanation as to why I got my mail on a timely basis from the prior mail person and his delivery times are all over the place.If a mail person ever tried to hit one of my dogs forget about it,That is one thing that would make me go off.Take care Steve

Having a PO Box is nice, as I know my mail will be there by 10 AM Mon-Fri and by 11 AM on Sat. Occasionally, the box will be crammed, but usually they'll put a key in for a larger box or a slip to take to the counter and they'll have it behind the counter.

I'll tell my grandma that. I doubt she will though. She's too nice and doesnt like conflict. lol
