    Old Topps Finest Question

Got a 50 Cent Grab Pack from my local hobby shop and I got this Topps Finest Gladiators Insert of a player I always used to love Arvydas Sabonis. It has this glossy thing on it that says topps finest protection peel off. Should I peel it off or keep it on? Im amazed that no one had pulled it off since 1996! Let me know!

i have one of those of keyshaun johnson and rasheed wallace. i pulled off the johnson since i dont even collect football, but i kept my rasheed one on. i think once you peel it of it decreases the value of the card dramatically, so i would keep it on if i was you. thanx

Yeah, it decreases the value but if it is PC then who cares...

it doesn't really decrease the value....it's more of a preference thing...actually many times people who grade those type of cards take of the protective peel since it's harder to get a high grade with it on

I would personally keep it on - I have several KGs with that peel on, and I wouldn't personally take them off.

I keep it on as well unless a whole lot of it is peeling off, it's just there to protect the card more.
