Rough last 24 hours

So I went to a poker tournament at my buddies last night. We had 25 people, which was a great turn-out on short notice. I started out great, only to lose most of my chips on one hand. I put a raise in with AJ off, and I get 1 caller. Flop comes out A98, so I got top pair with a good kicker. Turn and river come out rags, and I checked it down both times to try to induse a bet. They bet 2 times, I call, and they slow-rolled pocket aces. I was down to nothing and to rub it in more, I came back and finished 6th and the top 5 paid.

After a little Rock Band Tour Edition, I headed back to my g/f at the condo. I walk in the door and she is laying on the sofa, she looks at me and she has blood on her cheek and her lip is busted. So I started asking her how her night was, and all she could say was "I don't know". 10 seconds after I asked her what she all did, she had a seizure. It is still etched into my mind. I was in the hospital, and she had another one in there. Her blood pressure was through the roof, and I don't know what caused it. Anyways, I needed to get that off my chest, it's rough knowing that a person you love is just cooped up in the hospital.
