    Card Hippo?

Anyone bought from Card Hippo before? They advertise here so I thought maybe someone has...

I just ordered 4 boxes of Hardwood at $75/ea...That stuff is skyrocketing and I am wondering if they will honor their prices...

Its over $100 at the shoips around here and even ebay bidders are bidding it over $100 now....

If you've bought from Card Hippo let me know how it went...Thanks!

Well some prices are cheaper - like the Hardwood - but others are still more than Blowout...

I'll update evryone when the boxes arrive...it was free shipping and should be about 5 days they say, so maybe Friday...

I like their name/image as well...has nothing to do with sportscards...seems like I just bought my boxes at a juice bar or something...

Well, I got an email from Card Hippo today saying they cancelled my order because they don't have any more in stock...they offered apologies and 10% off my next order, unfortunately there will never be a "next order"...

Either they saw the price jump and got greedy or their online store inventory software is faulty. Either way those are red flags for me and I won't be going back.

I would be willing to bet they saw the price jump.

Don't waste your time...if they do put Hardwood back on their site anytime soon I'm gonna be writing to the BBB and the attorney general in their registered state. I'm not saying anything would ever be done about it but something would be on record...
