The Texas Two Step: Dallas Mavericks IP & Houston Rockets IP 1/22-1/25/09

I decided to have some fun with the title of this thread since I had a very busy week this past week. Since I was busy doing the Texas two step with these 2 Texas NBA teams over the past 4 days, I decided to combine the results in one big thread here.

Back on Thursday and Friday, I ended up going to the hotel to graph the Dallas Mavericks for a few hours after my classes here at school. I only did the hotel for this team on both days. The results are a combined total from both days that I did the Dallas Mavericks. Here are the results:

Gerald Green 1 card (The card did not come out so great even when I prepped this card very well.)

Brad Davis 8/8 cards (He did talk about the card he was on for a minute. He also mentioned that he gets a ton of fan mail and has seen his card 1000 times lol. So if anyone on here does ttm autos and has a card for Brad Davis, send it out to him he is doing his fan mail.)
Popeye Jones 16/16 cards ("Do you want me to sign all of these cards???" Me: "You don't have to at all but I know I do got alot of cards for you here. Is there any that you need to keep???" Popeye: "No no no, I got 1000s of these cards back at home I will just do all of them for you here." Me: "Thanks Popeye." Popeye: "No problem.")

Now the major mojo pickup I had from this hotel experience with the Dallas Mavericks:

Dirk Nowitzki 1 8x10 photo and a pic!!! (I am very happy with this success!!! He ended up taking a blue sharpie at the hotel here and signed for everyone with it this time around. I was able to get a pic with him after he was done signing and IDK how I was able to pull this off as he was signing like he was in a hurry.)

That is all I got from Dallas this time around. A scan of the Dirk 8x10 will be shown below. If anyone wants to see my pic with Dirk, I will try to get it up sometime later on today or this week. Thanks alot for looking!!!




Houston Rockets IP @ Hotel & Game 1/24-1/25/09

Back on Saturday night, I ended up going to the hotel for only 4 hours to give the Houston Rockets a try. I also went for most of the day on Sunday. Here are the results total for both days that I did the Houston Rockets over the past weekend:

Did Ron Artest sign for anyone? He stiffed me one-on-one last year.
I also agree on Shawn Respert. Very nice guy; he wrote me a nice letter after I sent him TTM.

Nope Ron did not sign at all here. He was going to at the hotel but when he started to come over, one of the team security/personel forced Artest to get on the bus. At the game, he only did the hi-fives thing.
