He is way underrated because he plays in a small basketball market. If he played in New York, Chicago or LA etc... he would get more consideration.

Can't make them all. :)
Durant is at 46.8% shooting for the season. Pretty good for a shooter. Kobe is having his best shooting year this year at 47.2%. I'm sure if you compare Durant to other SG/SF, his shooting numbers would probably put him in the top 7.
He does need to work on his defense...but some of that needs to come from coaching and a better supporting cast.

I think he's underappreciated in a tiny market on a bad team. How many Thunder games have been broadcast nationwide this year? I have yet to see a single one...
He does need to bulk up and play stricter defense but he is still very young...He would be a junior at Texas right now, right?

Well I can envision a Vince Carter(scorer gets hurt and continues to get hurt) scenario for him unless he gains weight and is willing to play D. I am not believer in any player unless he has been doing it for 3-4 seasons. Just my opinion. I hope I am wrong for you vintage.

I would definitely like to get Durant on my team if I had the chance...
He's already a great player and I think he will be even better in a couple of years. He's good allround and on top of that: he's not afraid to take his responsability in moneytime, and he does it quite good for being only 20 years old.

I think he is an average player. We need to see when they start getting other players on the team if he is going to be that good. Then we can say he is good. His team is last right now, so that measn that he does not have a big impact.
When Lebron came to Cleveland you could tell the difference. That is what I mean
