awesome, i love bernie, he is one of my favorite yankees of all time and i always make arguements that he is a first ballot HOF. You think the same?

I do, with how consistent he was over his whole career and the numbers he put up in the post season, I find it really hard to say he's not...especially with Jim Rice making it in now, I know he wasn't first ballot

Two seperate games I went to Bernie was clutch, in one game (a yankees classic...the one in 2002 where giambi hit a walk off grand slam in the rain, we had box seats to that, it was awesome) bernie hit a game tying homer in the 9th and in the other bernie hit a walk off vs the rangers (it was like a 100 something degrees, haha)...it was great to see those live

thats great. he played w/ such class. quiet but steady and productive. he leads the Yankees in soo many post season all time stats, its crazy to think he wouldnt be a first ballot, especially considering the year he went out, wont be too many other nominees in contention.

let's hope so, and he did play with such class and he was so humble, it was great to watch him play and look up to as a kid
