Report: Blazers offer LaFrentz, 1st round pick to Kings for Salmons

Saw this on another site. Report is coming from the Sacramento Bee. This would be a fantastic trade for the Blazers - yes, they would give up a 1st round pick, but would get a severly underrated John Salmons in return.

Salmons can ball. I think the Blazers would be making out on this deal, since the draft pick would (right now) be around 21st or 22nd.

Another player would have to be included with Salmons to make salaries match, since Raef is being paid so much - some speculate that it could be Mikki Moore or Kenny Smith.

Blazers roster is already loaded. Doesn't Rudy Fernandez and Nicolas Batum play SG/SF for them?

Wow, if they got Salmons they would be stacked. People don't know what he is capable of, but last year and this year when Kevin Martin was out he was putting up like 25 a night.

Please take Salmons... he is a ball hog..

a lot of talent but don't see how this helps the Blazers..

Happy for the Kings especially if they can getridof Kenny Thomas or Mikki Moore...

How is he a ball hog? He's on a team that has 10 wins and has had their star player injured for majority of the season. What do you want him to do, not shoot the ball?

To me he doesn't seem like one, actually the stats on the king are kind of even
