Eddy Curry's ex-girlfriend found slain

CHICAGO -- A woman found shot to death in an apartment was a former girlfriend of New York Knicks player Eddy Curry and the mother of his 3-year-old son, Curry's attorney said Sunday.

A relative found the bodies of Nova Henry, 24, and her 9-month-old daughter, Ava, in their apartment Saturday evening, Chicago police spokeswoman Monique Bond said. Both died from multiple gunshot wounds, the Cook County medical examiner's office said Sunday.

Curry's 3-year-old son was found unharmed at the scene. Curry is a former player for the Chicago Bulls.

yea i JUST saw this on the chicago news like 5 mins ago, terrible trerrible he has enough problems on his hands. thank god they didnt kill his kid.

They did kill a kid though - maybe it wasn't his 3 y/o son, but they did kill an innocent 9-month old girl.

Article didn't say whether the 9 m/o was his or not...but, it's still terrible because it is somebody's little girl.

I don't think it'd be that interesting, considering she's his ex....that would've been about 18 months ago, and the boy is 3....
