Haha, yea, they had a ton of Shannon Brown jerseys. Surprisingly, there were very few Hughes' left. I guess everyone wanted something to remind them of the greatest player to ever don a Cleveland Cavaliers jersey.

I'm sick of the city of Boston period, not just the Celtics
Why? Cuz all 4 professional teams are championship contenders?

The Patriots are Championship contenders? Could have fooled me.

I think it has more to do with their fans than anything.

Well, were...lol

Well, I'm not a huge Bruins, Sox or Pats fan, so you can't toss me in that vat! lol Are you meaning the in-stadium fans at Boston stadiums?

No, wasn't talking about you. Mainly referring to the fact that probably 60% of Boston fans are strictly fairweather/bandwagon fans. And the 40% that are legit Boston fans all act like their teams are the greatest things in the world and act so extremely ignorant about it.

Exactly. I don't remember too many people caring about the Celtics during the late 90's and early 2000's, now all of a sudden they have tons of fans. Same with the Bruins, no one cared about them really, now they are the best in the NHL and everyone is jumping aboard. And those that aren't bandwagoners act like the team is sliced bread and should just be given the Championship. Plus I couldn't stand those Red Sox fans before that curse ended, all I heard was "You think not winning a Championship in 40 years is bad? Try waiting 86!" I guess they forgot the Celtics were a dynasty, the Bruins won a few Cups, and the Pats had 3 Super Bowls in those 86 years huh?

Exactly!
Last time I checked, the Patriots haven't won the Super Bowl in 5 years. The Celtics have won one in the past 23 years. The Red Sox have won, what, two in the past 90 or so years? And the Bruins haven't won one in almost 40 years.

I figured you weren't referring to me...lol...and I think being bandwagon fans can be said about most fans that aren't diehard fans towards a player/team. There are lots of casual fans that jump on what's hot now, and tomorrow will change.
As for the 40%, I'm not sure what to say to that, because I consider myself a diehard Celtics fan now, but I don't think I'm ignorant and that we are the best in the world (even though we are record-wise right now
). I'll admit when someone else is doing well. Look at the game between the Kings and Cavs - I was giving props to the Cavs! :-)

Well, I shouldn't have said ALL 40%, but you get the idea.
Most of them act like all four teams in Boston are all God's gift to the sports world.
