Hi everyone. I need help!
Ok, so my grandfather recently passed away and I am now in possession of a large amount of sports cards. I promised my grandmother that I would do my very best to ensure they go to good homes. Now I readily admit that I do not know that much about baseball, basketball and football. I know a little about hockey but I'm definitely not a pro. So I need to know if there is anything in particular I should be looking for in these cards? As far as I know none of them are autographed. The years range from the mid 70's to the early 90's. The baseball ones are mostly Upper Deck (I think). I have brought a small quantity(being about 500) of them to my house to begin searching for info. I would really appreciate if someone could help me. Give me a general idea of what I should keep an eye out for? Is there a book or something that will help? I'm quite at a loss

I would suggest you invest in a Beckett Annual which will list every card in your collection. You would have to purchase one for each sport which would cost you well over $100 to purchase all four. But, you would be able to get a base line pricing for every card in your possesion.

Welcome! Most of the stuff that's worth much is from the 70's because cards were way overproduced in the 80's and 90's.
