This is Pretty Cool...

#1 girls volleyball player in the state of Michigan is Amanda Yerke who goes to my school and i have a class with her and know her, so its pretty cool that shes #1 in the state!
more impressive is she is #29 in the country for highschool volleyball players!

i guess the University of Michigan has given her a full ride scholarship to play volleyball for them
anyone else have anyone they knew/know that was nationally ranked in there sport of choice?

i don't know any of them personally but like 5-6 guys from my HS are going to Texas A&M, Colorodo, Iowa State and like Arizona for football, and last year a guy went to Texas. Also I know a girl who's really good at volleyball and plays like every weekend around the country.

I know LaSean McCoy from high school. Don't know his ranking but i'm thinking he has to be ranked some where, well at least was now that he is NFL bound

I don't know if he was ranked for anything, but Shawn Bryson went to my high school. He was the #1 RB at Tennessee when they won a national championship and played RB/FB for the Bills and the Lions, just retired last year. I played basketball with him several times and talked to his mom often at the post office when I was mailing cards to you bums.
