Everyone who buys Topps factory sets please read!

I bought a 2003 Topps Factory set recently and I opened it tonight, it was missing a dozen cards including 5 rookies. All the big names were there though, except for Bryant Johnson and Tyrone Calico. Has this ever happened to anyone before?

    Thanks,
    Ryan

Sounds to me like you got ripped off by a shady dealer. I was at a card show once before hours setting up my own table when a nearby vendor was reshrinkwrapping boxes...at the time I assumed he was just fixing loose seals but I always wondered if he was actually cherry picking. Unfortunately though most are honest there are alot of dealers who are unscrupulous thieves.

Actually I bought this set from WalMart and it had the original Topps seal on it.

If that's the case then I'd contact Topps because its their fault for not including the cards.

Makes me think I should check out my 1996 set and see if its complete.

worst they can do is ignore your letter. I always like to open up my factory sets and put them in numberical order to make sure everything is there.

Topps is very good with these types of things. They have sent me missing cards in a very short time. Good luck!
