Exclamation 2nd Edition North Carolina Collegiate Collection

Is the 2nd Edition of N.C Collegiate Collection worth anything? I'm planning on getting a sealed box,but not sure if it's worth it?Will the Michael Jordan cards be worth something in the future? Thanks.

They're probably worth $15 a box. The first edition isn't worth much more either. They're great looking cards to have for UNC collectors, though. What I like about them is the cards look crisp and centered. Amazing that Coca Cola made cards of better quality than Fleer.

They are not Jordan RCs. They are created well after his RC year.

The set was released in 1990. MJ's rookie year was 84. His first recognized RC is the 1986 Fleer. This set is just a UNC tribute set. I have three sealed boxes of the first edition that I paid $15 a box for, and I have one second edition box (the one you're talking about) that I paid $10 for. The Jordans make for good fillers in bargain boxes for $1 each.

This is just a great set to have for a UNC collector but not really worth much. Why? They must have made a billion of each card, I've still seen them for sale in packs at shows and shops here in Florida so I know there are plenty in NC, ha. I have both sets though and wouldn't trade them for anything.

a Local shop gives packs away to people that come into his shop lol....the UCLA, MSU stuff is also heavily overproduced...reminds me of 1991-92 UD French Hockey....wow they let the presses run on that sucker
