This topic always reminds me, and sorry if this goes a little off topic, about people rely on so-called expert testimony to say one thing or the other is DOOMED to happen. I've compiled a little list here of past "expert" opinion on climate change and environmentalism just to put everything into perspective...

In fact, that last quote was all part of the 70's hoopla that an ICE AGE was imminent due to global COOLING. Does anybody know what was the catalyst that changed the model because I certainly do not.

I guess what I am trying to say here is that scientists are very rarely unbiased as many of them are funded by grants for research, which is obviously how they make their livelihoods. No scientist will ever be given money to research the "Everything's OK" theory so of course the Chicken Littles need to scream the sky is falling in order for anyone to pay attention to them.

I could go on and on about this but everyone else has said the rest at some point or another on these boards.

I'm no climatologist so I really have no opinion on this.... but I'll just say this.... If know a few actual climatologists and EVERY SINGLE ONE of them says global warming is BS. But what do they know? Al Gore said its true so it must be.
