I know I'm a newbie to collecting, so I have never experienced anythign like the day I had today. Well, I posted earlier about my great pack of SPa. I pulled an auto/patch card #6/7.....while only buying one pack. (Even though I didnt care for the player.)

This evening, I learned of a new hobby shop thats right by my house. They dont really deal in sports cards (Mostly dvd/video games)...but for whatever reaosn, sell just about every kind of hobby packs in cards.

I bought one pack of Topps Treasury, and they also had a brand new box of Hot Prospects. (just opened) I asked the guy if i could pick the pack...and of course he told me "no feeling" the packs. So he just pulled one off the top for me, and handed it to me.

So....two packs total

So, for today... I am 3 for 3. 3 Packs purchased...3 Big Hits!!!!

And this Westbrook, is a card for my personal collection that I have chased all over the place trying to get. I have missed out on probably 8-10 Ebay auctions, and have even offered members here as much as $50. And it finally came to me...via a $7 hobby pack. Im geeked out for sure. I feel like a little kid right now.
