    TRADE: Magic/Bucks exchange guards

MILWAUKEE (AP)—The Orlando Magic and Milwaukee Bucks each had what the other needed—a role player who could provide depth at key positions in their injury-plagued backcourts.

Orlando traded shooting guard Keith Bogans to Milwaukee for point guard Tyronn Lue on Thursday after the Southeast Division-leading Magic lost All-Star Jameer Nelson to a serious shoulder injury.

Milwaukee, which also got cash in the deal, is without top scorer Michael Redd for the rest of the season after he tore ligaments in his left knee in a win against Sacramento on Jan. 24.

Seems like a good deal for both teams - both teams have lost key players in the last 2 weeks, and these guys can provide some much-needed depth at their respective positions. Also, this is one of the first deals not structured around salary cuts this season.

I think this also likely means Nelson will elect to have surgery and miss the rest of the season. A final decision hasn't been made yet.
