    Al Jefferson

Took the nephews to go meet Timberwolves' center/forward, Al Jefferson, today at an appearance he was doing for the Best Buy out in Eden Prairie, MN. Big Al was signing 2 items per person, so I've got him to sign a 6 x 9 Best Buy promo photo and a basketball for me. Got Big Al to sign a 6 x 9 promo photo for each of my nephews. The team's mascot, Crunch, also made an appearance again, so got him to sign his 6 x 9 photos for all three of us.

I am starting to get jealous. You definitely have a good thing going with the Best Buy in your area. And they're bringing out the big names too. Congrats!

Yeah, it's a good thing that Best Buy is a sponsor of both the Minnesota Vikings and Minnesota Timberwolves, so they are able to bring out some of the players to do appearances at their stores. Of course, with the Timberwolves' current standings, they're not one of the most hounded teams in the NBA. But that doesn't take away the fact that they're one of the better signing teams in the league right now since they don't have a larger fan base like the Lakers or my Pistons. I'm just fortunate enough to make it out to these signings, living within close proximity of where they take place. Plus, can't complain too much about the lines, since they're not too terribly long, unlike what I experienced last year with Tayshaun Prince, Chauncey Billups, and Rip Hamilton, when I was still living in the Detroit area.
