I have heard about the Pat neshek being a collector. That is pretty cool. Guess even stars are "star struck" sometimes. ANd who ever said you had to "grow up"??? I used to send out when I was a kid and have picked it up again after I had twins (1 yr old) I figure that he may appreciate all the hard work daddy did when he was little.

We have even gone to a few IP signings of Phillies and Eagles. I have to say that of the few we went to... David akers was the coolest. he had quite a turnout but took extra time for people with kids. There were tons of "collectors" there and he signed but was really interested in seeing my kids and others (boy and girl) in matching eagles outfits. Plus, their handlers (who are usually young ladies) were oogling over the kids and made sure that we were taken care of.

One time at a WYSP sponsored event, Tonya a radio personality was raffling off an authentic helmet, eagles grill cover, and assorted other things. She just gave me the helmet which I got signed by Joselio Hanson and Greg Lewis. I wasnt expecting anything but she just had her 1st son and thought that daddy and babies day was very cool.

I dont want people to think I use my kids to get autos but it has worked for some people. Prince Fielder came over personally and pushed by the ebayers to sign my bat and my kids little brewers tshirt. Very cool guy. I got pics to show my kids when they get older.

sorry for the long post and hope you and your kids have fun with this hobby. I know I am
