Topps Jersey Edition Question???

I just got 2 packs of topps jersey edition.
First Pack: Rashard Lewis
Paul Pierce Copper
Second Pack: Mickael Pietrus Rookie Card
and then a card that says:
Congratulations You are due to recieve a Jersey Relic Card of JE-CW Chris Webber from 2003-2004 Jersey Edition Basketball... How much is this card worth? and why was it not just in the pack?

i heard chris webber does this so you send the card in with your address and it will come to you in the mail

Arent both cards in the Jersey Edition packs jersey cards or did I hear that wrong?

yes two cards per pack and both are gu or autos

It's a redemption card. If the company can not produce a card before the product goes live they insert redemption cards which means you fill out the information on the back send it to the address stated and in a few months (maybe longer) back comes your Webber Jersey card. You do get 2 Jersey per pack its just that one in this case you have to send in for. That card will be worth about $10 - $15 and the hobby does not usually place any higher value on redeemed cards. I personally do as someone had to go through the hassle of sending for the card and I also think some people just do not redeem them making less of them in circulation. MOST PEOPLE HATE REDEMPTION CARDS INCLUDING MYSELF (unless of course the card is already redeemed)

i hate redemtion to i pulled a michael jordan auto gu patch 1/25 and didn't want to redeam it JUST KINDING
but it makes no sence becasue when you send it you hava to keep bugging them to send it
