    Official Celtics @ Knicks thread

Tie game early in the 3rd at 55 a piece. KG has a near double double with 13 points and 8 boards, but even more impressive is Rajon Rondo. Less than 10 minutes in the game and he has 9 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists, with only 2 turnovers!

76-72 Knicks at the end of 3...Celtics starters are doing well - Perkins 9, KG 13, Pierce 19, Allen 11, Rondo 12 - but the bench has only mustered up 8 points....but, Rondo is only 1 rebound and 3 assists away from a triple double! C'mon Celtics!!

KG has his double double...13 pts, 10 rebs...and Rondo is close...12, 9 and 7 still...but I don't get why Rondo hasn't played in the 4th yet...Pierce and Ray-Ray each have 22 and the Celtics have pushed their lead to 4 with 5 minutes left.

There is Rondo's double double...he needs 3 assists in the last 3 minutes to have a triple double...oh, and the Celtics lead is 11! No post-Lakers slump for Boston! :-D

And the Celtics win! 110-100! Woo hoo! 4 nights after Kobe scored 61 in MSG, and 2 nights after LBJ nearly had a triple double, Boston's Big 3 combined for 63 points, 18 rebounds and 11 assists...and if you add in Rondo, then the Big 4 had 75 points, 28 rebounds and 18 assists!

David Lee had a fairly impressive game for the Knicks too, with 18 points and 18 boards.

Lee is one of the most underrated players in the league, IMO.
