If you wouldve called and talked nicely, they prolly wouldve sent a few boxes your way. But you prolly mnessed that up. Usually there really good about keeping atleast the value.

we did the first 3-5 times we called they did send me 3 basketball packs and 3 baseball packs of cards
and i just found the redemption card! legally they can not switch out the card for something with less value in fine print the card says another card may be switched out in this cards place in certain circumstances but the card will be of equal or more value of this card
and the KG card is not equal

I'm sure they have their bases covered legally. And since your card had no actual value, they could replace it with whatever although I don't necessarily think the KG was that bad of a replacement. A Bird or Magic would have been a little more suitable though. A lot of people on this site would have loved to have gotten it from you.

they said they were going to give me a bird card but they were out is what they guy on the phone said and i would trade or sell the kg card for enough money or the rite cards =]
ill call them tommorow and see if i can squueze a few more packs of cards out of them or something

They are closed on Saturdays Im pretty sure, but I wish you luck. You should have taken a different approach to all of this though.

well we did w8 a little over a year be4 we recieved any thing so it did get frustrating at times and if they are i guess ill try on monday =p

your best bet is to send the card back with signature confirmation with a letter stating your concerns. Be professional and state you are not satisfied and get a few quotes from repeatable shops. With info and a rock hard stance you should get what you are owed. This a huge reason redemption's should never be made. Best of luck
