Saturday's NCAA Hoops
Just seeing what everyone's thoughts on today's games are? My thoughts in case you cared:
Cuse @ Nova(ESPN @ NOON)- This should be a dandy in the Big East...Nice uptempo game...I'll give the edge to Nova at home but it will be real close, Cuse covers the 5.5.
UND @ UCLA(CBS @ 1EST)- Yuck, times can't get any worse for my Irish. Without Harangody, this team would be 3-18. Any chance ND can score on UCLA? I don't think so, UCLA big. =(
Memphis @ Gonzaga(ESPN @ 9EST)- Ahh, the classic upper notch conference dominators. I really like Memphis ability to get to the rim and create foul trouble in this one. Pargo comes up big, but Memphis pulls out the road victory.
Minn @ OSU- Evan Turner is really something to watch and so is the turnaround of the Gophers compliments of Tubby. I expect this to be a half-court style game. I'll say Ohio State gets revenge at home, although I wouldn't bet money on it considering Minnesota just got thumped by MSU on Wednesday.
South Bama @ W. Kentucky(ESPN2 @ 2EST)- The "Bracket Buster" of the day award. Should be a great basketball game...Western Kentucky was a shocker in the NCAA Tournament last year and you never know what to expect from the run-and-gun Jaguars. If they can turn the Hilltoppers over, they might hang around in this one. WKY prevails at home.
UPSET ALERT: Well the upsets have been coming through all week, especially in the ACC. USF's victory over Marquette was a shocker last night. I don't expect too much of the same today, as I think most favorites will win. I'll throw DUKE on the Upset Alert for this weekend...McClinton may go off at Cameron.

I'll be at work for the beginning of the Buckeyes game, but hopefully they can beat Minnesota. We need all the wins we can get to make sure we get into the dance!
I can't wait for the Memphis/Gonzaga game. Should be an excellent game!

Hmm decent round of Noon Games...Cincy over GTown is no shocker, but Miami leading Duke by 13 at Half sure is nice.

I was glad to see Michigan play well against UConn today. They didn't quite have enough, but they battled to the end and kept it close all the way to the end.
In the end, UConn's huge size advantage was just too much. No one could stop Thabeet for Michigan.
