Forum idea
Hey Mike, and other mods-
I just had a thought about what could make the auto forums even more helpful
would it be possible to set up a sticky thread in each sports success forum- each week, a list could be made of the new addresses posted in the past week. the entire address would not need to be listed, just the name of the person who was added. That way, if I am looking for a particular person, I can check the sticky each week to see if they were added as opposed to going through the entire list
just a thought, let me know what you guys think

I've thought about that too Ed. One thing I do is check Maple19's recent posts using the search option and it does a good job of pulling up his new addy's posted...

true- that is an option, but since other people also post new addresses, that isnt quite complete. it is a good way to start though

that is a great idea. I have seen something similar to this idea on another addy website. It gives you updated by month to new listings. If this is possible, I fully stand by it.

thats pretty much where I got the idea- and it works so well there, I figured we could try it here.
Id even be happy to compile it every week, would just need the authorization to do so

wish I could get rid of this rookie moniker. I dont understand how things work around here.

yes- the tags- rookie, etc, are solely based on the number of trades made on this site. you need to hit 20 to clear the rookie moniker and move to the next one, whatever that is
its a way of keeping dishonest traders from jumping on, and trying to make high end deals that they never plan on going through with

There has been talk for sometime about a real overhaul of the TTM address area. I agree that it is far from perfect and that we can improve it. Please be patient and realize that the site has a ton of things going on. Hopefully we will get an chance to get something new in place that will make the address section easier to use eventually. Thanks as always for your input and support of this section of SCF.
