Exclamation New Member with a Question

Hello all, I recently aquired a collector edition set of an uncut sheet of 93-94 Upper Deck Flight Team cards, (20 cards total). I am trying to find out some general information on these, as it is numbered as a series of only 3000 made.

This set is still in it's original shipping cardboard sleeve, and box that it was mailed in.

Can anyone help me with some general information as reguards to collectability and pricing info for this?

Any help would be deeply appreciated.

You know I have no idea. The people to ask would be Dave30, gatorboymike, nbacarddotnet, and vintage heroes. They seem to have been collecting B-ball since at least the early 90's.

    Thank you drtom2005...
    (I have only a little knowledge about 90's though..=) )

Well, I haven't seen those uncut sheet.
(Because I don't prefer sheet..I only have liked standard size card)

But I can tell you like this..

Of course, it would be very nice keeping like sheed at wall of your Private Collection room.

3,000 prints are not short print or rare...If that information is true..

SO if you want to keep as your personal collection or something..that would be very nice.

But if you want to sell as high price..it would not be easy..IMO.

Even if that sheed is really limited..it would not be expensive.

Even Jambalaya(from EX2001) sheet was sold around 400$(?).

I hope my OP would be little help to you. =)

P.S. : As regular insert card, Odd of Flight Team is 1:30
    (Only from Hobby)

and there are European Version of those...

    Thank you

Thank you for your comments. The reason for questioning is that I acquired this item at an estate auction, (deceased was a prominant collector of cards... and some of his collectables sold for substantial $$$). I also had purchased a limited edition, (1 of 500), authentic, autographed Barry Bonds rookie card, (PSA Graded 9.5). I got a nice price out of it on e-bay! I am NOT a card collector, but this uncut sheet caught my interest at the auction, and I hated to have to sell it on e-bay just to find out what it's worth! I appreciate all of your input on this matter.

Uncut sheets by and large are not big in the hobby. There are certain collectors for them and you will get some people whom just happen to like the look of a set such as yourself. The real market would be ebay in all reality. Its an older set, while a print run of 3K is not limited now, it was then and likely has declined in value over time. Toss it on ebay and see how it goes.

back in the day MJs Flight Team were the card to have, but over time the value of them has declinded rapidly, and normaly sell for around $1 - $2 each

Was always one of my favourite sets

    Forgive my ignorance

Please forgive me for my ignorance, but if cards were a hot commodity in the past... why do they lose value over time? Again, I am a novice at this, but in my way of thought I would have thought that they would appreciate in value and collectability. What am I missing? Thank you again for all of your kind responses!
