Results From The Weekend!
Now that I'm back from the Blue Jackets Hockey Fest, I have the results from the weekend! First off, I want to say that Hockey Fest wasn't what I thought it would be. It wasn't $5 a session with a dozen players a session. It was about five players an hour and $5 for one or two autographs. Here are the results:

Steve Mason wasn't there because he was sick with Mono and Jakub Voracek was gone with a concussion. That mean two of the three I really wanted weren't there. I still think I did pretty good. I spend $5 for Dorsett/Chimera, $5 for Boll, and $5 for Nash, so about $3 and auto. Marc Methot was supposed to be with Boll, but he was gone with the flu. The lines for Nash was about 200 people long. I waited five minutes to play Wii against him and I got two autos! I also won a 1:50 scale Blue Jackets zamboni lol. All of that goes with my Laurenaitis signed program from yesterday. I was pretty happy with my day today!

Yupp, I had a great day! I had Nash sign an 08/09 MVP Marked By Valor Insert and it looks beautiful. I wish I could post a scan!

Congrats on a fun weekend. I hope that you have another chance with those you missed, but all in all it sounds like you added to your collection and had fun doing it!

wow, thats pretty cheap. in philly, the big guys cost $22 each at their "carnival"

Yeah, I had some very nice additions to my collection and it was a lot of fun.
This probably sounds crazy, but I'm going to be sending out one request a month to Steve Mason until I get an auto back. If I don't get one by the end of July, I'm going to buy one at the National. I'm also going to start sending requests out to at least one Jacket a week. I'm hoping to really improve my collection!
