    Fantasy Rant

Alright, so I am in 2nd place in my fantasy league - 2 points behind first place! Great, right? Yes, but 3 of my 6 starters are injured! I was without Mike Dunleavy until he came back a few weeks ago, and last night he injured his knee. Then, Mike Bibby, my starting PG, is out for unknown reasons. And, lastly, Al Jefferson went down last night with a potentially season-ending knee injury. And, worst of all, I can't release Al Jefferson because of the way his contract is! So, I'm left with Dwight Howard and Brook Lopez, Ryan Gomes and Hedo Turkoglu, and Rajon Rondo and Chris Duhon, followed by several bench players. Arrgh!!!

Damn that sucks. But why can't you release Jefferson? what kind of league are you in?

Rotissere, or however it's spelled...lol...based on his contract, he's on the "can't cut" list....really sucks, cuz if he's out for the season, I'll only have 10 roster spots....but, maybe Lopez and Dwight can hold down the fort for me....and, maybe Big Al won't be out for the season...but, I have a feeling he will be. I'm anxiously awaiting the MRI results....

18 teams with 11 players per team....

Fortunately, I have some decent backups, but I don't want to lose Big Al!!

Funny thing is, I drafted 16th overall, and selected Big Al, then pick #21 was Dwight...and I had David Lee too, but traded him for Rondo and Duhon...so yeah, I do have a stacked team, but having my 2nd best player go down isn't good at all...I really hope the pop was nothing serious (even though I know it is).

Nathan, calm down :). Usually if there is a season ending injury the player will be taken off the can not cut list. Are you playing on Yahoo?

LOL! Yeah, it's the SCF league...I'm just a bit disappointed since I'm in 2nd and could have 3 of my 6 starters out...ugh!
