I know, I have always felt bad for him because he was ruined in Detroit. I felt he played well in Atlanta. The University of Oregon is my home town school and he was their QB when I was in high school. I later went to (and graduated from) Oregon...so I gotta route for him.

Man, that guy used to destroy my poor Cal Bears!

Hey man, you think your guy is a bust....my first GU card was Quincy Carter.
And it wasn't a multicolored dual patch. Sweet pick-up man!

I appreciate the kind words for my card. I'm a little unsure about one of the patches though. The darker patch is odd because it's too dark to be blue for Detroit (at least it seems to be)...it's basically black. And, Oregon doesn't wear that color (at least not back then). Assuming this jersey was one he tried on and threw in a box at one of the rookie events for Topps...is there any order to that process or do the card companies just grab any jersey they can get a hold of (despite the color)? I have also read that Topps isn't overly highly regarded for it's quality. The other piece looks like it's part of the striping on the Detroit sleeve to me.

Oh, and I'm not embarrassed by my Harrington fandom. I have routed for him since he was a Sophomore in college. It's sad that his career hasn't panned out (yet ) but maybe it will.
