OK, I put too much stock into this IQ test.
I would have posted the FaceBook one, where my IQ is the lowest recorded of any I know there (112, which by today's standards is extremely low and signifies ineptitude), but not everyone has a FaceBook account.

I do know the last time I had an IQ test officially administered, I scored a 142...

My dad scores highly on IQ tests (140+). Mom also does well, in the 130s, and she's even short. I am trying to figure out where I got the stupid gene.

Nope.
I think what happened is I got an overdose of verbal and conceptual analysis skills (which make me appear smart on here and helped me do well in school) and a tragic undersupply of common sense, physical coordination, spatial reasoning, and computation speed.
