$150-$175 to spend at DCS or DA

Hey guys, I'm thinking I'll be spending part of my return on cards this year. I've been reading and it sounds like people are doing really good with SP Authentic from this year, so I may get a box of that, and then possibly UD from this year or something from 05-06. Any thoughts?

I have yet to pull the following:
    Logoman
    Letterman
    1/1
    LeBron anything other than base

Hopefully I can pull one or more of these soon!

Yeah, there have been some really sick pulls out of SP Authentic. You should definitely try one of those. Be sure and let us know what you pull.

Get chrome or bowman from 05-06 for cheaper boxes. If you want to try to get a Paul auto from 05-06 , you need to put up the cash for some UD from 05-06.

The UD from 05/06 is all out of stock at DCS :(

    DACardWorld has:
    UD: $50
    Hardcourt $55

Everything else is a lot more. 06/07 is looking pretty good on DCS, I've got my eyes on these:
    UD: $25
    DP&S: $37
    Topps Chrome: $45
    Topps Finest $47
    Luxury Box: $50
    Reflections: $48
    SP Authentic: $55
    SPX: $50
    SP Sig. Edition: $35
    Sweet Shot: $45

Any ideas on ones I can eliminate from that list and reasons as to why? I'm pretty much sold on SP Authentic now.

Well the 06-07 rookie class isn't as good and that is why the boxes are cheaper. If you are going for 05-06, get Hardcourt, because I don't think CP3 has an auto in UD base. I maybe wrong about that. Do not get any topps from 06-07 because the redemptions are expired. What every you get, pick the thing with the most hits(jerseys/autos) so you have a better chance of getting something good. Hope that helps a little.

I think 06/07 is still pretty good. Roy, Foye, Aldridge, Gay, Rondo...

More of a quantity than quality draft since there isn't a Paul or anything in that draft, but still pretty good. 05/06 isn't necessarily too spendy, just pretty much all sold out on DCS...

I could also just stick with all this year and get a UD or something as well.

Yeah I think the only superstar in the 06-07 class is Roy. The other players you mentioned may be at best multi-time all-stars. Go to dacardworld. They have some 05-06 stuff but the UD redemptions just expired though about a week ago.

IMO the 08-09 Rookie class is the best theres been in a long time. If you cant find something in 05' to buy, I'd defintaly recommend the 08-09 SP Authenitic. Ive already several hits, and have yet to even buy a box. It is by far my favrtie product so far!!!

I think 03-04 is the best class in the past 10 years and then maybe this one if everyone plays to potential.

I'm torn between DA and DCS right now.

DCS has free shipping $100 and up, DA $150 and up.

DCS you get a free mystery pack with each box you order, DA has something somewhat similar...

If I got stuff at DA I'd get a couple cases or something too, though. I'm definitely getting a box of SP Authentic, the question is do I want anything to complement it. I was hoping there would be say a $25-$50 box that would be one or two big time packs...

At this point I might just get Authentic and then some holders and maybe a cheaper box just for fun. Maybe Big Game or something.
