Damn dude that sucks...reminds me of that one time I got the hankering to bust some football during Big Ben's draft year. I got off of my last class and went to my shop...not 15 minutes before a guy had bought the last pack of Finest and pulled a Big Ben Gold Ref Auto and sold it for 750 to the owner. I was going to buy that damn pack as I only ever bust Finest or Chrome FB....BAH lol

Oh man, that sucks big time. Sweet pull, and sweet card to see in person, but knowing you could've owned it not 10 minutes ago really has to suck. Congrats to the kid though! That'll pay for half his college fund....lol

Man I feel your pain, back in like 2001, one of the now defunct shops in the area had 2 boxes of UD Ovation on the shelf for like months, one day I decided to buy one the owner was a friend so he gave it to me for like 50 bucks, and was trying to talk me into both boxes, but I wasnt feeling that lucky............well I bought the box took it home and it wasnt very impressive, so I go back in about 3-4 days later and the other box is gone. I asked the owner what happened to it, he proceeds to tell me that he left it on the shelf for 2 more days, and then decided to rip it himself, and pulled a FRIGGIN JORDAN UNC FLOOR AUTO/23...........I was so mad at myself

Great lesson learned for all who enter a card shop and see a box with a few packs left and don't buy them because you think the "good stuff" has been pulled. YOU NEVER KNOW!
