    3 blaster boxes 2008 Bowman DP&P

I was weak and grabbed 3 more 8-pack blaster boxes from target.

    Box 1:

Nothing, not a damn thing, except for a Gorkys Hernandez common I'd been looking for.

    Box 2:

    Matt Harrison Refractor
    Taylor Teagarden Blue Refractor (62/99)

    Box 3:

    Brandon Boggs Refractor
    Chris Carter Refractor
    David Shafer Auto (SoTF)
Joe Mather Orange Refractor (in the same pack as the Shafer Auto)

Anyhow, how does this stack up vs. a hobby box in people's opinions?

Posey and Beckham are only autos in the set. They don't have any base cards yet. As for your 3 blasters you did pretty good with the blue and orange refractor but for the same price you can get a hobby box that will garuntee a Chrome auto let alone a colored chrome auto and you have about a 1 out of every 10 box chance of pulling a Aflac auto. The Porcello Aflac sells around $100 and the Jason Heyward sells around $120-$150. So I think the value is in the hobby boxes. Although you run the risk of spending $60 on a hoby box and pulling a Cody Adams Auto that will net you $3 if your lucky. All in all there are a lot of good autos in 08 Draft and it is a pretty decent gamble. The Chrome propsects will pan out in a year or two and those will be worth anywhere from $2-$8 a peice for the handfull of good prospects.

    Very nice summary.

I've had some amazing luck with my hobby boxes so far with Posey, and a few AFLAC's all coming my way. So I definitely prefer hobby even though I've never tried a blaster (wouldn't waste my money)

P.S shoot me a PM about a trade for the orange refractor I have a friend that collects the cardinals. Thanks!
