    Card Shop Finds (˘50 box)

Stopped by a coin/card shop I hadn't been in in over 5 years today.
Got to talking with the owner and he brought out a ˘50 box.
Nothing major, prob overpaid on a few but...
I found a nice GU and some cool cards for my Sonics collection.
It was so nice to just walk in, dig through some boxes, find some cool cards and not have to pay shipping or worry about them arriving.
Overall a great trip and experience!
    Check 'em out:

I'd say you did very well! I've never seen that GU set before. It is a very nice design.

    Very nice pick up. =)

Ed O'Bannon remind me his rookie season.

and that Payton Slam shiny insert looks candy.
(When I saw that card, I felt like that)

    Thanks guys for the comments!

The 'Roundball GU's' are pretty sweet, wish they had had the Allen.

    Me either, j/k.
I've always collected a few of the players. (Allen, Mason, Lewis)
Just figured I'd focus on it a little more by pulling out all my old base/inserts and trying to add a few here and there.
Strictly low end though with this Sonics TC.

That's cool you remember Ed. He and his brother went to a rival High School.
Short NBA career but I enjoyed watching both of them play.
Funny about the Payton...the pink is pretty bright

    A GU in a $0.50 box? That's awesome! Congrats!

Those old inserts are pretty cool too!
