    Non-potato Idaho facts:

-We produce 8% of the nation's Hops. If you've ever had a Budweiser, you've had Idaho hops!

-72 varieties of precious stones can be found here, along with productive gold and silver mines. Hence, its official nickname, is the "Gem State."

-The world's first chairlift (for skiing) was built in Sun Valley

-The world's first nuclear power plant was built near Arco, Idaho. Also, the first nuclear submarine prototype was built here.

-Two baseball HOF'ers are from Idaho... Harmon Killebrew (Payette, ID) and Walter Johnson (Weiser, ID). Both towns are within 8 miles of each other.

Lots more, but that's off the top of my head.

In South Dakota it is illegal for more than 2 Native Americans to be in the same room at any given time.

The law is still on the books just not enforced
