As expected, a well-rested, wary, and hungry Lakers team beat a Wolves team that, 2 days ago, played perhaps their greatest playoff game in beating the Kings in game 7. Wolves most likely were exhausted, with only 1 day off.

But, if you recall, in last year’s playoffs, the Lakers beat the Wolves in game 1 at Minnesota, then got absolutely SMOKED in game 2 by KG and the Wolves. This year, they’ve added Sprewell, Cassell, Olowakandi…..
