Tampa Bay Rays - A Card A Day

I love showing off my Rays collection and I've been gone a while with a lot of working and such. I have over 5000 Rays cards if you count commons, so I have a lot of stuff to show. I will generally put up one a day, but sometimes my work gets crazy and I'll have to catch up. I have a bit of memorabilia too to throw in here and there.

Representing my Shields super collection, one of my favorite and most costly:

BTW, if anyone has a button patch from this set let me know. I've never seen one since release and it wasn't on the SP list.

I lost several of these cards because I just wasn't impressed with the patches for the prices, but this one has a great logo patch and looks great. The Beckett BV on this one is ridiculous BTW. Next up: HOF Wade Boggs.

3. Wade Boggs 2001 Topps Tribute Number Patch Relic SP/30
This is still my favorite because it was my first real high end card. It was also rare at the time to get a nice Boggs in a Rays uni. Plus its a sick patch for 2001.



Then, I came across this one and it blew the first one away!

5. Rocco Baldelli 2004 Leaf Certified Cuts Marble Material Black Prime 1/1
This would be my best Rocco. I hope he does well in Boston, just not against us. Sorry the case is scratchy. Tomorrow will feature my best item in my collection and the first piece of memorabilia.
