Mailday w/Upper Deck replacements

Minutia first:

- One card from 73-74 Topps; 15 away from completing that set
- One card from 93-94 Upper Deck, to complete the 673-card master set thereof
- A rare unredeemed 94-95 Fleer Lottery Exchange card
- Four 94-95 Stadium Club First Day Issue, to bring me to 334/362 in that set
- Marreese Speights Press Pass Legends Bronze (/750) and Silver (/199) - PC
- Mike Dunleavy UD MVP base - PC

And now for the meat and taters. On Christmas 2007, I got a redemption card for an 06-07 Chronology Autographs Gold Avery Johnson (/10). Upper Deck stalled me for 11 months and then said they weren't going to bother to actually give me this card. I sent them my list of replacements and they stalled me for 2 more months, and finally my page on their site said the replacement was "shipped." 6 weeks later, it finally arrived. The first thing I noticed was that they didn't send me anything of anyone I asked them to, so maybe because of that I don't feel like I got a fair replacement. But you can judge for yourself and share your opinion. Here's what they sent me:

How would you rate the replacement? Also, I'm not big on any of those guys, so all of these are FT.

For me the Rose is a lame replacement and a real easy card for UD to let go of.
They might as well of given you a Darvin Ham or Morris Peterson Auto.

Avery Johnson #/10 would actually be a pretty nice card because he always inscribes bible verses in his sigs. So I would think one of those might go for at least $25 as oppose to the replacement which would net you nowhere near that.

I saw one of them sell on eBay for about $17, months ago. I bid on it because by then I was convinced Upper Deck was going to screw me (and they did). But I got outbid by this guy who seemed to be trying to snatch up every Avery Johnson card. So over the next three months I outbid him on two dozen things and he hasn't made any trouble for me since.
