    Griffey is a Mariner!

Its not a good baseball move, heck, it may blow up in their faces. But it just FEELS right. Welcome back, Junior. :-)

Time to bust out the old Griffey jersey and see if it still fits... Hopefully he'll stick with #24.

Pretty cool to see - he'll end up retiring on the team that he began his career with.

Indee bringing back Griffey was a good PR move and will increase attendance, but you know what else would too, WINNING!!!!!!! Im sick of these stupid moves the mariners make, Griffey is a waste of a roster seat bring in someone that we dont have to worry about on a bat by bat basis. They need to focus on some stud players that can produce instead of the over priced over hyped crap they sign. UGH

It's definitely a great PR move. It was almost funny to me how I just picked up one of his rookie cards with the Mariners and now he's back. I do also agree that it may not be the best choice for the team, but it does feel right.
