both teams are just moving bad contracts.....the bulls get a huge monkey off their back by dumping Hughes 13 mil contract......ya, bulls get these other scrubs that they'll eventually have to dump to but at least they accomplished getting rid of hughes

I can see where it makes sense contract wise. Hughes 13 mil contract is harder to move later then a bunch of smaller contracts. Sounds like Jerome James will be bought out, Roberson will play out the season and not be resigned and Tim Thomas will be a bench player. Eh to get rid of Hughes I am all for it.

I don't think anyone expects this trade to put them over the top. They traded two guys who don't play, and someone who stinks, for a guy who actually plays defense, but can't shoot. So he's the third guy on the team who can play D, and the 8th or so on the team who can't shoot.
